To go to the hospital or not to go?

So I have my d&c scheduled in 2 days. Today I did wake up with a period like bleeding, my doctor said if this happens before procedure date then I can go in the er and and an emergency d&c. But before we even scheduled anything I did have the option of passing the baby at home myself. I'm so hungry and idk if I can even eat a few hours before I go in the er. Maybe some soup broth? Or should I just try to have a miscarriage at home. I was 9 weeks when my missed miscarriage occurred so idk how painful it would be to stay home and do it myself naturally. I also had a couple drinks last night and now I'm worried that could affect anesthesia if I had to have it done today. I'm just starving and scared and torn on what I should do
