Did anyone try inositol ?

Hey I’m 23 and have PCOS , i tried birth control metformin , the patch, diet nothing really worked
I was wondering if anyone tried inositol? Whats their experience was ? 
I’m single and not trying to conceive i just want to regulate my blood sugar/insulin and loose some weight

I know this is late, but cycle smart and glucosmart supplements are currently working for me. I did an ovulation test on CD 43, prior to starting the supplement and it was a faint positive due to high LH levels, I also wasn’t experiencing any symptoms of ovulation and BBT didn’t rise. CD 58, i had an increase in CM, so I tested LH and I had a faint line. Today (CD 60), I had a positive LH test along with a rise in BBT and increased CM. If you would like, I can update you when I have my period :)

I recently went to a fertility doc because my hormones were all out of wack. He did a quick ultrasound and showed I have definite pcos. I asked how to control symptoms and have a regular cycle. He said to maintain a healthy weight.

Yes and made my cycle longer by 180 days!!! Made my extreme moody and needed to go to hospital with major migraines needing lumbar puncture! Only thing that has helped is metformin now have regular 28/32 day cycle for over a year and half but I am trying to conceive
