My two little strong embryos

Alexis • 29 Ttc baby#1 for 4.5 years 👶🏻.04/01/2010❤️

I still can’t believe the roller coaster of emotions this Ivf journey has been so far. After my egg retrieval I was told they were only able to get 7 eggs and the following day 4 had fertilized. Hearing the numbers drop so much after just a day terrified me and I still had to wait a week and a half to see how many made it past day 5.. I got the phone call and was told we were down to two and you can already imagine how scary that feeling was for me. All that I could think about was what if I end up with nothing after genetic testing what am I going to do?? I’m still going to have a 25,000 dollar loan out and then how am I going to try again? Not to mention I have a very very low amh level so I already don’t have a lot of eggs for a 29 year old. I prayed every single day and hoped that my two little embryos would stay strong and make it till the end. After another long week and a half i finally got the phone call and was told that out of my 2 embryos, my 2 embryos came back genetically normal and healthy as can be. Now here we are today, waiting to start my mock transfer and hopefully have a successful transfer at the end of November :) my husband and i have been trying for five long years to have a baby and we started trying in the month of august. It’s crazy to think if our transfer works, we could be meeting our little boy or girl in august of 2022 (would have marked 6 years of ttc)
