Do I Need to Check Myself?

I'm in graduate school and I'm completing required intern hours this semester, so I had to reduce hours at work. I'm also a single mom and I'm a custody battle and I have no family at all. My professors are aware of my situation. Ok.

So, there is a form that needs to be completed by the advisor (who is also my professor) in order for financial aid to disburse. However, my advisor told me in a previous semester that he wants me to fill it out and he will just sign it. Not wanting to be argumentative, that's what I do every semester since then.

So, this semester, I send him the form. A week later, still haven't heard back, so I email again. A few days later, still haven't heard back, so I go to my field placement director and ask if she can help me, conveying the urgency. She contacts the program assistant, who creates a docusign and I eventually get the form turned in. Okay. So, after 12 days of processing, they tell me the form was turned in wrong and it needs to go back to the advisor. I again contact my advisor and three days later, I get it submitted again. Meanwhile, I communicate with my apartment complex that my loan is late and I do not have the money to pay rent. They tell me I have until the 15th to pay or they will begin eviction. Keep in mind that I do not have family and I am in the middle of a custody battle, so eviction for me means staying at a shelter and losing custody.

So, I emailed my advisor and essentially said "I really dont appreciate how difficult this has been. It took me almost two weeks to get the form signed and then they told me that it was filled out wrong, which is probably why I'm not supposed to be filling it out in the first place. I'm facing the possibility of eviction and termination of custodial rights because of this. Please don't let this happen again. Respectfully, name)." It was worded better, but that's basically what I said. And my advisor hasn't even responded 🤦‍♀️ I'm afraid that I did something wrong? Should I have not sent that email?
