Ovulation or cold?

I have been keeping track of my bbt for 3 months now and haven't ovulated (I have PCOS). CP seemed high and more CM than usual but not as much as the times I have definitely ovulated in the past, and I have been tricked by it before. This would be my first ovulation since starting to track things. The thing is, I have been fighting a cold since Friday, and the day my temperature first shot up was the day that the cold suddenly got worse and hit me like a tonne of bricks. I know being ill can affect bbt, just seems like an odd coincidence with the timing of the cold getting worse, temp rise, and ovulation signs. Have you guys experienced this before?
