Bleeding then Postive?

Af is supposed to arrive on the 9th. For four days I’ve had brown spotting only when wiping and the past two days I’ve had more red bleeding but not enough to even really make a mark on a pad. My bleeding does have some really stringy bits but nothing that looks like an actual clot. I took a pregnancy test but it looked negative. I’m just not sure what exactly the bleeding is because I haven’t had it before. So I guess what I’m getting at is has anyone else experienced stringy bleeding and then a positive pregnancy test? Or am I out this month?
