Reflux questions

N

I’m pretty sure my LO has reflux, but it doesn’t seem to be painful (except when spit up comes out his nose, which happens but not often) and he’s gaining enough weight. He just spits up a ton. I try to hold him up for at least 10 min post feeding, but it’s hard to do more than that because I have a toddler as well. My doctor said to watch to see if he reacts to foods I’m eating, and it feels like it doesn’t matter what I eat- from different spice levels to Thanksgiving dinner- he spits up. I’m wondering if I should just stop breastfeeding? I currently combo feed, so he’s used to formula as well. I was wondering if I overfeed him- maybe my milk supply has increased as well? But he’s not overly chunky- he’s about 80% percentile for weight.

It’s just really hard- feels like whatever I do, he spits up a ton. He’s smiling right after, so I guess it doesn’t bother him, but it’s enough that I feel like I have to change his clothes because the upper part can get drenched. Anyone else in the same boat? My toddler spit up, but nowhere near this amount.
