Yes, if that sounds familiar to you for a reason *other* than APS, it *is* the anti-malaria drug Trump said would treat COVID-19 that did not in fact do anything to treat COVID-19.
Apparently it's *also* commonly used to treat a few autoimmune disorders in addition to being used to treat malaria, and it has been used to treat APS during preconception and pregnancy. It seems to be a fairly recent use, but from what I've read it looks to be on par with heparin or Lovenox at preventing early miscarriage and possibly *better* at preventing some late term complications associated with APS, but again, it's still a new treatment.
My rheumatologist just perscribed this for me while trying to conceive after a miscarriage. Do any of you ladies have any experience with this drug being used to treat APS?
