normal pregnancy after premature birth?

i went into premature labor and lost my son due to an incompetent cervix, i was told there was 20-30% chance of it happening again in my next pregnancies. i was wondering if any other ladies have went through this and had a normal pregnancy? or if you had to get the cervical stitch or anything? i'm going to try again regardless but it's still scary to think of going through it all over again
