New job offer - relocation

Just got offered a job in Minneapolis for a really good company! I’m happy but also very anxious. I’ve never even been to Minnesota before. It will be next year after I graduate college. I’m from Michigan and my mom thinks I should stay remote.

I love my family but I wanna move away and try something new. But I know nothing about the place and don’t think I’ll know anyone around there.

Anyone have anything they can share about the city?
