Do you still remember your first crush?? If so, how old were you?

My little girl has been friends with this really nice kid since TK and they're now in 2nd grade. Today she gets off school and she tells me "well... I have some news (she tells me the little boy's name), has a crush on me, he says that I've been knowing since forever so I pulled him aside and asked him again, do you have a crush on me?? 🤨 And he said yes again, so I told him that I have a crush on him too ☺😄 and we went back to the table" ... as much as I like the little boy, because we constantly do play dates and stuff I was not expecting the "news" 😂😂😂 they're both literally 8 years old.

I'm not sure what's making me feel some type of way right now 😬😬 whether is the fact that my little one just told me that she has a crush or the fact that her crush has a crush on her... my paranoia is kicking in biiiiiiiiig time right now. In the other hand I remember this little kid from my kindergarten and he would always bring me cookies to school after he confessed his love to me! Lol.

I'm thankful for the open communication I have with my daughter, I guess I just needed to vent since I'm not about to make this is a big of a deal infront of her.
