Has anyone had a Pap smear done in the third trimester?

I know Pap smears are normal and I get them every year. I was told I’m due but I’m wondering if I need to have it done while pregnant or if it can wait until after. Tbh, I’m a little nervous now because I just had a cervix check at my last visit and it was painful for me so I’m hesitant about any sort of invasive checks that might not be necessary.

Ask to wait until your 6w PP appt. My doctor pushed mine off without even asking, said I'm not going to cause discomfort at this point in the pregnancy this was with my last, but she says the same thing about cervix checks. She doesn't do them unless there's been contractions or other concerns.

I opted to wait even though I was due for one especially that I've had irregular smears everytime I've gone... They offered it to me in my second trimester but said that it can honestly wait until my 6week PP appointment.

I personally would wait plus if you’ve never had an irregular pap you are only required to do one every three years now, and you’ll be checked again after birth any ways so I would wait.

Its quick and painless! But if you aren't comfortable just tell them that.

Ask your gyno if you can wait until your 6w pp appointment. 
I don’t see an issue either way. It’s not invasive. It’s just a cotton swab on the walls of your vagina. A cervix check is definitely more painful and invasive. 
I had my last pap done at my confirmation appointment at 6 weeks pregnant.
