Does your child receive their routine shots the exact day they become that age?

My son usually gets his shot the exact date he turns whatever month needed for the shot ( 2monthe, 6 months etc)
However we recently moved and this new clinic is saying they dont have his 15 month shots in right now and that he will need to wait a week or two (he turns 15 months on nov3, and usually receives a shot that exact date)
Is this normal ladies?

I mean yeah, they don’t have to be on the date. My daughter turned one on a Sunday and her pediatricians office was closed. I think she got her shots when she was closer to 13 months. I think shes only gotten shots on the exact date when she was like 2 months old and that was just a fluke.

Yes. My son got his a week after his birthday.

I went whenever I remembered to make the appointment, not once we're they on any exact date.

Definitely not. My doctor was on vacation when my son was due for his 2 months shots, so he got them 3 or 4 weeks late when the doctor was back. And then every set of shots since then has been the same 3-4 weeks after the month he’s supposed to get them to keep the spacing correct

Yes. We've gotten some a week early and others a month late. It's normal 😊

Can’t go earlier but going a little later is fine. My daughter’s last ones were late due to illness.

Yep, once mine hit a year old it was usually a few days or a week later. Mostly due to scheduling
