Baby might be a 2022 baby!

I’ve been seeing all of you mamas getting closer to your due date. With a lot booked in for inductions or caesareans mid/end of this month. I’m so excited for all of you and it’s made me feel like mine is just around the corner too.

I’ve been so excited to meet our little girl, after 4 years and 5 miscarriages, we have waited for her, and I feel so lucky. But this pregnancy has been tough, I have HG, she’s measuring big, and I’m ready for my body back. She’s due on Christmas Day, but I’ve been saying ‘I think she’ll come early’, ‘I think she’ll be here by Christmas’. But this evening it hit me that she might make me wait until January!!!! She might not even be a 2021 baby! It’s only a week after my due date, but it mentally feels so much longer!! Is there anyone else in a similar situation, that is due end of December too? I feel like everyone will have their adorable babies and I’ll still be waiting 🤣🤣

(I’m in the UK and my hospital only offers inductions at 11 days post due date, unless medically required.)
