Genetic Gender Reveal?

Any one get the genetic gender testing done and it was false? Or how many of you ladies had it done and it was correct. Getting one done today and will get results in about a week and I told my husband I still want to wait to reveal the gender to family and friends just incase it’s wrong. Just wondering?

The genetic one is extremely accurate. But if it were me I’d still wait until the 16-20 week mark when you get the actual scan. I prefer waiting until I have the physical scan and confirmation.

I did my gender reveal after my NIPT results, I get the scan confirmation in about 2 weeks but technically speaking the blood test is more accurate than the scan. Blood test is 99% accurate while the scan is between 90-95% accurate. I would do whatever you think is best. In my personal instance if my genetic test was wrong on the gender & I find out I’m having the opposite sex than what I was told I think it would be more comical/ shocking to my family members than a big deal.
