Early induction

I am heart broken. We found out today my mom will be going away for 3 years on 12/15/21. My due date is 12/25/21. I messaged my Dr today to see if early induction was an option so my mom could meet my baby. They said they don’t do elected induction before 39 weeks. My baby has been measuring big most of my pregnancy but my due date has never been changed. I wish they would change my due date to what she is measuring so I can be induced before 12/15/21. Anyways, has anyone had their due date changed this close to the end due to baby measuring big?
