Taking baby to football game?

My LO is 9 months old and we are thinking about going to a Football game this weekend. Weather should be between 39-45 degrees Fahrenheit all evening. Do you think this temp is okay for baby for 3-4 hours outside? I have her a onesie, sweater, tights, leggings, socks, booties and a sherpa suit to go over those things. I also got a hat and mittens. It may sound dramatic but we live in the Deep South and 39 seems like it’s going to be so cold!!

Baby is breathing that temp air which is not good. I would decline to take baby in temps that low for that long , not to mention risk to baby being in a crowd and the noise on the ears

Sounds fun! I’m from up north originally. Just keep baby warm, if you have a car seat or stroller cover you can bring in case it gets windy that’ll help a lot. Also remember it’s not like you’ll be trapped out there. If it gets too cold or baby gets fussy you can always leave. Just enjoy it and sit away from the band to decrease noise!

It's 100% fine to be out in that weather just keep baby dressed appropriately and check often to make sure the back of their neck is warm but not to hot being all bundled up. Enjoy your outing!

I’ve seen lots of people take them- if you have noise cancelling headphones that would be good- and preferably they would have somewhere you could go inside and warm up if things get too cold (or just go home at that point?)

I believe you dress baby in an extra layer than what we feel we need. Sounds like she’d be warm. My concern would be the noise level. Are you prepared to leave early if she’s fussy? And exposing her to a bunch of people who could be sick (with anything lol not a covid rant just cold/flu season) my personal opinion! But overall it sounds like she’d be warm and comfy.

I think it sounds like a fun family outing!! We live in the high Sierra mountains and I was snow skiing (well, practicing walking in my boots anyways. I am the youngest and this is how we do🤷‍♀️) at this point in my life. You’re doing it with the appropriate gear and you can always bail if it’s a bust. Enjoy your bundle. Nothing more cute than a marshmallow baby!!!
