For my first son my water broke first but for my second son contractions started and water was broken at the hospital. Currently pregnant with my baby girl and I’m so excited to see which way it goes this time lol

Both of mine contractions started first. With my first my water exploded at transition and he was born an hour later. With the second it just trickled and took another 10 hours for her to come

My water broke while I was in transition, and right after they did, my body started pushing. Baby was out about 45 minutes later.

I had contractions for 3 days then my water broke at home while I was sleeping. Got to the hospital and I was 8cm dilated. It was my first baby so I had no idea I was in labor until my water broke. 
I thought the contractions were just normal pregnancy pains because I wasn’t even full term yet. 🤦🏻‍♀️ At least I know what to expect for my second.

Waters didn't break until the doctors broke it at about 5/6cm.

Contractions came first with all three of my kids. With my first, the doctors broke my water about 12 hours before he was born (regular contractions had started 56 hours before they broke my water.) 
With my second, the doctor didn't break my water, for whatever reason. I had regular contractions for about 16 hours and it was time to push literally as soon as my water broke. 
With my third, they broke my water about 7 hours before he was born. I had been contracting regularly for about 9 hours before they broke it.
