If someone you used to know and be close to, reached out to you after years? You never wronged them but they wronged you. I know as Christians we are to forgive others their trespasses. Would you be kind and talk to them or would be kind, wish them well and leave them be?

Wish them well and leave them be. Forgiveness doesn't mean that you have to continue a relationship with the person. It just means that you no longer believe they deserve to be punished for their wrong against you. If they did something bad enough for yall to cut ties in the first place. It would not be wise to allow them back in just to do the same thing again.

Depends what it was. If it was minor id forgive and forget. 70x7 lol. And just like the father has forgiven… if it was abusive… forgiveness doesnt mean rekindle the relationship
