39 and up ladies TTC.. Don’t give up!

Ok ladies so I gotta share. I’m 40 and just found out yesterday that I’m pregnant with rainbow baby.

We’ve been trying for 2 years. Not with app until middle of 2020 … and not as hard with pandemic uncertainty and all. This year, my husband and I both were tired all the time and never on same page about when in mood. When he’s exhausted I’m ready to go and Vice versa. We’d try maybe only once during ovulation. I was beginning to get worried about my opportunity to be a mom, if my chances were quickly flying out the window… I went to doctor in October and had bedside ultra sound to briefly check overall reproductive health…no cysts on ovaries, etc…

Got some good recommendations from doctor and reality checked about my age and only 5% chance of conceiving naturally. We got accepted by fertility clinic referral but put off any testing until December as we just got back from vacation on Saturday. I was 3 days late on vacay, so took tests yesterday and found out that we finally it. I just wanted to let my glow ladies know that despite with doctors tell us about our age… it really is possible. It’s defeating, I know,

I’ve been down and out for a while thinking it would never happen. But don’t give up hope, it can happen to you. We actually tried 2x during the week of ovulation last month instead of a pathetic

1x, and it happened! Special baby dust to all you ladies ttc, but especially my fellow “older” gals who are feeling hopeless. Y’all got this!! 💪🏼
