Autism or terrible twos?
I know some people will just come at me with go and see your dr but I just wanted some advice before getting to that stage…
My boy is two next week and has fully hit the terrible twos I’m guessing but there’s some things I’m wondering if it could be more or if it’s just him being a normal toddler. Kids are strange n all that. His speech has always been really good and he can talk full sentences pretty much but sometimes he just babbles rubbish and sticks his tongue out wobbling around. I dunno if it’s just boredom and him being silly? He listens to me and deffo knows his name but won’t turn to me and look at me if I call him half the time but sometimes does it straight away so I dunno if he’s just choosing to ignore me like kids do when they’re more interested in other things. He also keeps putting everything in his mouth still, not eating really but he’ll chew on his toys and if I tell him to stop and explain it’ll make him sick and we only put food and drink in our mouths he just licks it more to defy me…..he just does the opposite of a lot of stuff we say and laughs - hence terrible twos I suppose - and I’m pregnant with our second so I’m tired and at the end of my tether. Can’t help looking at him sometimes and thinking is there something wrong or is it just me expecting too much from him?
Any advice would be appreciated!
