Anyone else’s newborn?

Never fails, when mommy puts a new diaper on, it’s time to go. I’ve changed her diaper three times in the last 15 minutes and she just went again! I give up. Think I’m just gonna let her nap before I disturb her, yet again.

If it’s just pee, it’s totally okay to leave it for a few hours. They’re made to pull moisture away from the skin and keep baby dry for hours. If it’s poop, that’s also normal. Didn’t happen often, but there were definitely a few days were we’d go through like 3 diaper changes in an hour. That part does get better!

Omg my baby does this when pooping. We waste multiple diapers everytime she poops.

I only changed the diaper before every feeding or immediately after a poop but yes there were days where in an hour I was changing her diaper multiple times because it seemed quite full. However, like the other commenter said, diapers are made to pull moisture away form skin so your baby should be okay with staying in their diaper for a couple hours.
