Someone on my boyfriends side of the family who I have in fb messaged me this the other day. I have been struggling with my ppd and anxiety I just thought it was weird she messaged me this. We don’t talk normally and this was just random

Have you been making posts on Facebook about your struggles? Maybe they’ve seen and think that you’re asking for help?

Comes across very passive aggressive to me. I wouldn't be happy recieving a message like this, it's not supportive at all

While this may have not been the best approach, if you are having issues, getting professional help is the best route to go. Maybe your bf is telling people what is happening to you and your relatives with him or maybe they picked up on things being off. 
But what you do at the end of the day is your choice. You don’t need to respond if you don’t want to. You can ask her to clarify and ask her why she is saying that to you. Or even take the advice and seek professional help if you think it could be beneficial.

If I got sent that message I'd be upset too HOWEVER she's more than likely not wrong. Personal struggles really don't belong as Facebook posts. Sounds like she wants the best for you but is also sick of negative, depression & anxiety posts, which I know I would be. Your personal circle or a therapist is where that kind of stuff belongs - not social media. This may be an unpopular opinion but it's true.

Well, the person obviously knows somehow. Maybe that person has struggled with it or know someone close who has and just wanted to say it's better to get help.
It could obviously have been done better, but I would assume it's due to concern about you - and perhaps the effect it'll have on your little family.

It’s nothing wrong with being transparent at all. People always say your personal struggles shouldn’t be on social media but that’s not true. Your social media is about you YOUR LIFE. If you feel the need to spread awareness DO THAT. Obviously no one else is going to do it. And other people are shamed for doing it. But when someone commits suicide it’s all “why didn’t they say anything etc” it’s sad how some people just want to keep so much hush hush ?!!? Like okay ?
