Should I be worried?

Update: I made a dermatologist appt for December 30, which was the earliest they could see me 
I was scratching my back and felt this mole and decided to take a look at it and I’m kind of scared that it’s cancerous. I’ve always had moles all over my back and I have no idea if this is a new mole or if it has always looked like this but I’m really freaking out. I was already planning on getting an exam but should I make an appt asap or can it wait a bit? And if it can wait, can I just see my primary dr or should I see a dermatologist?

It’s multi colored and not a regular shape, you should go get it checked out. Even if they don’t remove it they can measure it and see if it has any changes.

It's a bit suspicious and you should get checked by your dermatologist regularly anyways since you have a lot of moles. I'm like a connect the dots drawing and had a cancerous mole so I see mine twice a year. Biopsies are super easy and quick and IF it's cancerous they usually prescribe a type of ointment/cream to use on it, it burns a bit but nothing unbearable. Most skin cancers aren't as scary as they once were and very treatable now

My husband has one very similar to that and it’s fine. But but but it LOOKS suspicious and one to keep an eye on because it may change in time and especially if you expose yourself to sun without protection. I didn’t read your a caption sorry I jumped right to it.

I would go to your doctor as soon as possible, that looks very suspicious. Usually you need to make an appt w your primary to see a dermatologist

You should see a dermatologist. Your PCP won’t be able to tell you anything about it.
