Question for moms that sleep trained ONLY

If your LO is sick with a cold or something minor, do you allow them in your bed?

I’m struggling on what to do in that situation. Only because being in my bed really doesn’t help my child. He fusses just as much as if he was in his bed. So regardless, we both don’t get much sleep. He doesn’t have a fever, so far he is congested and have a runny nose. But I wanna be able to comfort him as best as I can.

How do you handle these situations?

My kid is 4yo just for the record.
