HELP me with this pleaseee

GUYS!!! I am so embarrassed….so yesterday I was in the school office and this guy I liked was also in there and I was just signing some papers and I go to put my REALLY THICK and curly hair behind my ears with the pen in my hand….and omg the pen GOT LOST IN MY HAIR IN FRONT OF EVERYONE… so naturally I say “did the pen get stuck in my hair?” And I just laughed but I don’t want this guy to think I’m gross because I’m not I just have really thick hair. How do I feel better about it?
