Soothing
Need some advice. I’ve been weening from breastfeeding and I’m at the tail end, maybe have enough for 1-2 feeds a day. My son typically slept well at night and when he woke I would just put him on my boob. We combo bassinet slept and co slept. He’s been sleeping in his crib for about a week now, but when he wakes I cannot sooth him without putting him on my boob or making a tiny bottle of formula. He’s been waking more often I’m thinking from teething and my nipples are paying the price as he’s sucking them raw all night. I definitely don’t think he’s hungry, but the sucking I think soothes him and he REFUSES a pacifier. I have tried so many different brands and shapes of pacifiers, but he won’t take any. I didn’t have these issues with my first as he took a pacifier and whenever he would wake up I would just pop it back in his mouth and he would fall back asleep. Any advice would be helpful as mamma needs some sleep.
