Scared to give baby solids?

So he’s been on purées and he is 8 months old now. Has the pincer grasp and everything. I bought these plum organic baby puffs but I’ve been breaking them so small into a crumb sized bite. When can you give your baby’s a full puff?

Mine has been eating whole puffs since 6 months old. He turns 8 months this week.

My daughter is 8 months, and she has the whole puff. She’s been eating solid food since she was 6 months old.
Have you tried the puffs? Do they melt in your mouth without you having to chew? I find that they don’t stay solid for long, so I’m not worried about her eating them at all.

My daughter has been on full puffs since bit before she was 6 months (9 months on 11 Dec).. she now gnaws on bananas, pizza crusts and pieces of toast on her own, no problem. It can be terrifying at first (my LO has a habit to munch half the puff, and then just stick the second half into her mouth at once).. 😂 But as long as she manages it, all good. I only intervene if it looks like she can't handle it.

I test everything before i give it to him to see how easily they break down, the puffs are really easy he's been having them since 6 months, he's 8 1/2 now

We did blw in my house. If you're super nervous you can try following some baby led weaning pages on social media and see people talk about it and explain things. It might ease your mind to be exposed to it
