MA to NC road trip with 6month old baby and 2 dogs

We’re relocating back to NC from MA on Sunday and hope to do the entire drive in one day to avoid the coming storms and stopping overnight in a pandemic. We did the drive here (NC to MA) back in September and it took about 17 hours with stops every 2 hours (for baby). I usually drive part of the way when we make this trip, but last time I sat in the back with the LO, plus a dog in each footwell. It was pretty brutal, but the baby behaved beautifully at 3 months.

What advice do you have for traveling with a pretty feisty and moody 6-month old bebe? Thanks so much in advance!
