Curious…

I’m curious how everyone’s calling in sick/sick days work at their place of work?

I’ve been struggling understanding my place of businesses.

I texted my manager today (I worked open-close) and told her I wasn’t feeling well & the issues and asked if there was anyway I could leave earlier but that I’d help through lunch rush. She texted me back we had no one to close for me today. So I come to work anyways and I get super dizzy and she seems to get upset and says “I don’t know what to tell you; call (insert coworkers name)”. Which I did and she couldn’t cover due to plans she already made. I’m not mad about not being covered, but every time I feel sick/need to be covered NOBODY will do it, but my manager had a ear ache the other day and left without even asking someone to cover for her. 😅 (the managers sister owns the store)
