When did you introduce a potty? (boys specifically)

My son is 19 months old and I’m curious when everyone introduced a potty and what resources were helpful in potty training? I think he’s still too young but I don’t know the signs to look for when he’s ready. I’m really clueless on potty training and it seems overwhelming! I have friends with sons and they all took forever to potty train and weren’t full potty trained until 3 and that makes me nervous 😬😬 I know everyone’s different but I was hoping more like 2-2.5 ha but we’ll see! Really appreciate any advice and resources you have!!

We introduced the potty around 15 months and my last two boys were completely potty trained at 18 months

Generally, the later you start, the quicker the process is as they have the physical and mental capacity to ‘get it’ a lot quicker. 
My son is nearly 3.5 and we’re going to train him in the next month or so (summer here in Australia). 
Our daughter was fully trained when she was only a little over 2, but our son hasn’t been interested until now so we haven’t pushed it

It’s not to young and I say it best to start off letting your baby go to the bathroom every time someone in your household go

Both my boys were 2.5 closer to 3 before they finally got it. I just did the timer method and let them go outside a lot (I know that isn’t possible everywhere, we live in the country). They both took about a week.

We tried around 19 months and he was great when naked but as soon as we put pants on him he would just wall around peeing. So we are going to wait until 2 to try again, about 2 more months. He tells us when he has pooped and now he's starting to tell us when he is peeing/is about to pee which is going to be helpful.
