Feeling lost in my faith

I’ve always been a very spiritual person and had a deep relationship with God but recently I’ve been feeling lost on what identity as spiritually. I was raised Catholic and was told by many it was wrong. My life evolved and I then became more spiritual and left the church. I was still told by many it was wrong to be spiritual. Again life experience made me evolve and I then when back to the Christian church but hoped back and forth between baptist and non denominational. Again by many I was told that the beliefs/practices are wrong. If everyone thinks their belief is right, can anyone be right? If I am wrong no matter what Religion or denomination I follow, what is the point? Not that I should let others beliefs change mine but I live in a world full of labels and boxes. Even if you don’t pick a label your still picking one. How do I figure out what is right for me? There’s not one religion/denomination I 100% can agree with.

To me God is bigger than denomination or religion. As I get closer to God, I feel like he is happy when I commit to a place that is doing its best to show true faith. I’ve been to catholic, Pentecostal, baptist, non denom, Methodist, Presbyterian congregations and gotten something positive from all of them. God transcends the divide. Just look for peace.

The Bible will be your best friend. I was spiritual and practicing for twelve years until He led me to the Bible. The issue with denominations can be misinformation on what God alone can teach you. He is our best teacher! To learn from His word is the most reliable source. Seek the kingdom first and all else will follow. Pray for revelation from God and meditate on His word. Trust His timing and pray for clarity - away from deception. Humans by nature are deceived because we were exposed to sin at birth. If a human can deceive you, so can a spirit (we are mind, body, spirit) so praying for clarity and discernment will help you. It is so okay to be vulnerable and be vulnerable in the Lord. Sometimes it’s a meeting place for Him, because we come to Him with humility and weakness, where He can give us strength and understanding. You are searching for Him and He knows it - and that’s the most important part. Feel free to message me anytime you have questions or need some prayer or guidance ❤️ God bless you

God has very high standards for how we are to worship him. The last 8 chapters of Ezekiel were to show the exiles how high his standards are and to make them feel ashamed of their actions. I agree with one of the other commenters. Meditate and study the Bible, pray and connect with God but I definitely think everyone needs a teacher (Acts 8: 30,31). Some don’t believe in organized religion or think we should worship him however WE see fit. But that’s also the same mindset that Eve had. We need to worship him how HE wants us too. So it’s not exactly which religion fits you best but which religion actually follows the Bible. So truly come to know what he loves and what he hates and you will quickly begin to spot which organizations don’t worship in truth.

Ask the HolyGhost to enter into your life. I will start off by reading John 1:1 through Acts. Understand the gospel first once you understand the gospel, you can align the gospel to the Church you seek. It’s not about the denomination it’s about the fundamentals of the gospel!!
