Crib Vs Pack & Play?

My two week old is massive and is outgrowing his bassinet. 
I’m debating on either getting a crib which we really don’t have a lot of space for or a pack and play instead. Any parents have recommendations for me??

Crib. Pack and plays only last so long but a convertible crib can be used as a crib, toddler bed, and a frame for a full sized bed

Pack n play is nice for travel. I would have no interest in bending down that far every sleep during day to day life.

Crib for at home and pack and play for when you have overnights at friend's/family's homes

If he is massive, the pack n play will only be a band aid on the situation. For really tall kids they don't last as long as a crib. Perfectly safe though!

Definitely a crib. If baby stays on the massive side, a pack n play will only last until babe is like 18 months maximum.
