Antibiotic troubles

I’m currently taking 500mg of Keflex for a severe bladder infection. I’m 7 weeks pregnant. I can’t have amoxicillin but I’ve had Keflex before a long time ago & the doctor said those were my only 2 options because I was in the first trimester. I’m also allergic to sulfa drugs.

But about 2 days after starting them I noticed I was having awful stomach pains & diarrhea. So I looked at the pamphlet they gave me with the RX & those are some of the side effects.

The stomach pain is terrible. I gave birth pain med-free twice & the stomach pain hurts more than that. It feels like “omg I have to go now” cramps, period cramps & a contraction all at the same time.

I still have 4 more days to complete the antibiotic per instructions & I can’t stand constantly being in the bathroom in pain anymore.

Has anyone ever taken an antibiotic besides Keflex & Amoxicillin in their 1st trimester?? Trying to see what other options I have 😭
