How long did it take for your cycle to regulate once your first period returned postpartum?

We are wanting to start trying for another baby. I got my first postpartum period back at about 1 year postpartum. It was very heavy and lasted 7 dsys. I typically bled 3 days before baby. 😩 I believe I ovulated cycle day 26 or 27, I'm cd 30 now. Before baby I had a 26 day cycle regularly... just wondering if/when I will return to normal.

I didn't get my 1st period post baby 1 until like 17 months after theybwere born but were totally regular when they did come back.

After my 1st baby I got my period back 13 months pp and everything went back to normal immediately. After my 2nd I got my cycle back 13 months pp but I'm just starting to get regular about 7 months later.

My first period was 10 months pp and at 11 months pp I got a positive opk and my period and at 12 months pp I got my period but each times it was irregular. Now I'm 14 months pp and my period is a month late and I got a positive test on Thanksgiving day but blood work the next day was negative

Are you breastfeeding? That can definitely put if off some. I didn’t get mine back for almost 2 years with my second baby.
