Had to tell someone

So im 18 and i make a dollar and 55 cents above minimum wage. When i was 17 i made minimum wage.

So i remember i used to work my ass of when i was 17... Literally trying to make overtime any chance i got. And well i would get what i thought was a check every two weeks, even tho that's a regular check for me now.

So i get paid weekly now and the checks are okay (bills got me feeling that way haha) but this Thanksgiving i ended up working and i was kinda sad about it. But yaaaaalll we got paid overtime on Thanksgiving

And The check just hit and what i made in a week is literally what i used to bust my ass off working in two weeks on a really good check back then.

Idk if that makes sense but i just had to tell someone cause i was getting tired of my job but now it's not so bad.

And i was literally dipping into my savings this past week and with the check i just got, i was able to put all that money back PLUS put the 20% i usually put every check AND still have more than what I usually have in a week.

I know it was just that holiday pay giving me that extra money but it honestly motivated me to keep working hard cause God knows I'm tired .
