Another one?

My labor was super traumatic and ended in an emergency csection. I always wanted 3 but decided I only wanted the one. I’m also 35 (will be 36 next month) so time is not on my side. My husband also has 2 other kids with 2 other women - a 16 year old and a 2 year old. Our baby is 8 weeks.
But when I was thinking about birth control, I realized I maybe wanted another baby? I want my boy to have a sibling and be close to him. Did anyone else only want one but then maybe decide on another one?

We only wanted one because my delivery was pretty traumatic, got pregnant while on birth control, now couldn't be happier with our two!

It sounds like you are pretty sure you want another. For your health, please wait at least 18 months postpartum to conceive again! And with the traumatic nature of your first birth, look into hiring a doula next time. 💜

Yep we said one and done before baby. A few months after her birth I wanted another. I managed to convince my husband that he wanted another too when she was about 14 months old. IUD out and we started trying. I’m now 18 weeks pregnant.

I always wanted 2, but changed my mind to 1 after a traumatic labor and emergency csection. I changed my mind again shortly after my first turned 1. I had my iud removed shortly after that and got pregnant again when my first was 16 months.
