Confused man

I live in a house share with this guy, he is Romanian and he has a plan that when he is 35 he wants to move back to Romania so obviously while being here he is not going to start any solid relationships. But the way he acts with me sometimes shows me and others agree... he has feelings for me but because he has this plan of moving back to Romania he is denying and denying. He tries to encourage me to find a bf or fuck whatever... but if I do go on a date then he asks me 101 questions about it.. like why should he care If we are just friends. I've also noticed when I've been out and he assumes I've been out with a guy he gets really nasty to me for a few days but denies he has feelings for me and just wants to be friends. We have slept together but he stopped it because he said I was catching feelings but I think it's him that was catching feelings and still has them. Its really messing with my head... because his telling me he just wants to be friends and I'm not the girl for him... because in his mind he wants to move back to Romania in 2 years time.. But his actions tell me otherwise.. should I start distancing myself from him for my own benefit?
