STD for years?

Is it possible to have an STD ( like chlamydia, but generally any STD)  for 6+ years with no symptoms? Just curious if that’s possible or would you typically know by that point due to other related issues?

In some cases Chlamydia can lay dormant for decades without the person knowing. BUT, they do test positive for it if tested even without symptoms. That's why it's important to get tested with every new partner and yearly

It depends. Like people REALLY dont get checked! Like that’s a real thing. But if you have multiple Sex partners then SOMEONE is bound to get pregnant or get checked or something. It just depends on who you’re sleeping with
