Husband cheated?

I don’t even know why I’m writing this, it’s absolutely stupid but I don’t want to share with friends yet. My nanny who works for us full time dates someone who works with my husband(he’s the boss). She is super trustworthy and would have no reason to make anything up.

I guess all of the employees got together this weekend and we’re saying how funny it was that I still don’t know my husband cheated on my with another employee. Mind you hes 34, and all employees are very young. He runs the business, there is a lot of younger adult turnaround.

My nanny overheard and I guess he cheated on me with one of the waitresses there. He’s a pretty sloppy drunk and so is she (the girl he cheated on me with supposedly), and they were all at a Friendsgiving party the other week together. I chose not to go because I don’t care for their holiday events.

My nanny called me today to let me know because she didn’t want me to not know. I don’t know how to process all of this, and I don’t even know if it’s true. I’m so upset and it’s just not okay. I know everyone he works with doesn’t like me too much since I don’t drink, I don’t so drugs, and I’m a mom. So they all think I’m a loser/bitch.

I’m embarrassed, and idk how to even approach the situation. I asked him and he got defensive immediately asking for a divorce, but then backtracked and now I’m just ignoring him.

Before anyone says anything, my nanny has been around for 2 years, we are pretty close now. My husbands never cheated before, or really shown any signs to me that he’s cheating. I just know rumors usually don’t start from nothing.
