MIL help

My MIL Lives 8 hours away and asked if she could come stay with us for a week because she needed to come here to arrange for her mom to go to long term care. I said sure. When she got here she said it’s actually going to be 2 weeks. Then she says oh by the way I’m going home for a week then coming back for 2 more. Like didn’t even think to tell us or even ask if it’s ok for her to stay with us for 4 weeks?!? We are TTC and her around 24/7 all month is going to hamper that. Plus I already had plans for Christmas with my family and now she’s barging in on them and planning her own Christmas parties at my house without even asking. I’m already feeling smothered with her and she’s only been here a week. I can’t do another 3. I feel uncomfortable in my own house. I can’t just come home from work and relax because she’s just always THERE. She plops in front of the tv all day and watches what she wants, doesn’t help cook meals or anything. I told my husband I don’t want her to stay for another 3 weeks and he said I hate his family and am being a bitch. I also don’t want to be the daughter in law who says she can’t stay with us but come on! I would never expect to stay with someone for a month without even talking to them about it before hand. What do I do???
