Positive turning negative)

I have nexplanon as birth control. So late periods are normal. This month my period is so far 10 days late. Which alone is normal but i cant eat. Like i mean i can but i throw up right after. i can't handle smells. Both are symptoms i had my first pregnancy. I decided to take a test and it immediately had a line at the Testing. But the line faded before the test was considered invalid. (Like it faded as the control line was coming up) has anyone had this happen before? Was yours positive or negative in reality? I haven't gotten a chance to get a new test.
