Moms that work from home, what do you do?

Do you find it easy or difficult? I really want to find a work from home job so I can be with my daughter, even if it’s part time to bring some money in

My husband works from home full time and I work hybrid and we have our son in daycare full time. We have to keep him home when he’s sick or if there is a Covid case and it’s very difficult and one of us always falls behind in their work.

I work from home and still keep my daughter in day care. I have an administrative roll for a huge Women’s health dept at a large hospital. I’ve kept my daughter at home some days and it’s fine on a light day, but I can never really predict how the day is gonna unfold. My busy days I absolutely can not watch my child and work. It’s one or the other. Some parts of my job I can do outside of typical business hours so some days if I want to spend the day doing something fun with her, I’ll work the morning and then work again after she goes down for the night. Flexibility is a big part in making it possible.

Very difficult. 
It might depend where you’re from though, here in Canada we get 12 to 18 months maternity leave so trying to work at home with a one-year-old is very challenging. I work in marketing from home because of Covid and I cannot get anything done unless my husband is home to help with our daughter. 
If baby is much younger because leave in the states is sooooo much shorter, it might be more manageable with a baby who doesn’t move and naps a lot lol.

It honestly depends on what the job is. I just quit one that was work from home it was for alorica and it was a call center representative. It was extremely difficult to do while caring for children. If you find a company that doesn't mind children and respects that you will need time off then that's good. That's very hard to find though. I had to quit because I kept having to take hits to my attendance at work for appointments and stuff.
