Is it wrong to discuss your sex life with a friend without the consent of the other person?

Interesting topic of conversation this morning with one of my good friends: is it wrong to discuss sex with a friend without consent of the other person/people? 
For example, person A sleeps with person B. Person A then divulges all of the details to person C without B knowing, including details about their body, their kinks, etc. Is this wrong?

I think it’s one thing to be like “oh we had sex, it was good/bad” vs “oh we had sex, his dick was *this big*, these are his kinks, this is what his body looked like, this is how fast he came” ext. I think that pushes boundaries and isn’t okay. 
Personally when I’m having sex with someone I want to trust them and feel comfortable with them, and if they went around telling all the details of our sex life to their friends I wouldn’t feel comfortable with them anymore.

I’d find that a violation of consent. Not getting consent from B to share this info with C is not only rude and disrespectful, but it takes away their right to grant or not grant consent. A should not be sharing private information without explicit consent.

It depends. Random sharing of intimate details can be wrong but sometimes someone is trying to figure out if something is safe or “normal” etc. open conversations can help people navigate unknown situations.

I think it depends on the age of people discussing and what they’re discussing.  I think it’s helpful for younger people to have those discussions, even if details exist.  They’re learning about themselves and their bodies, bouncing things off each other I think helps normalize certain things.
Adults, I don’t believe it’s so helpful, but I also don’t think it’s always wrong.  It scares me a bit thinking about people believing discussions outside of a relationship are -always- wrong because that might be helpful in keeping abusive situations hidden.

I dont talk about the details of my sex life with friends beyond "we're sleeping together now," and I don't want to know the details of their sex life or anything about their partners, and I wouldn't want a sexual partner divulging details about me. I think it's fine to be open about sex in a general way, about your own likes and dislikes, etc, but it isnt okay to divulge personal details about your partner.

saying “yea we had sex, it was great/bad” is okay, but going into details is wrong. i even start to feel uncomfortable if a friend starts going into details about someone they slept with

It’s okay as long as both are being respectful. “I had an amazing time with them last night” is far different from “his d*** is huge & I rode it all night!!”. I would no longer be comfortable with a man that gives details about my body to others, degrades me, or tells people details about how I sound/react during sex. That’s a deal breaker & a trust violation.

I’ve had friends talk to me about their sex life and how their experience was with the person. I did have one friend who did share details like size and all. The person never really knows about it unless you have a really messy friend that exposes people . When I was in college it seemed pretty common for people to share about their random hookups …never understood why?

I personally wouldn’t share any details outside of generic information. Even with consent it seems objectifying. 
That said, we’re monogamous and married.
I’d warn someone if a person violated consent or had red flags, though. Shady dick can suffer the consequences of getting less.

I’m a married woman and I would NEVER, EVER discuss my sex life with any of my friends. It’s a betrayal of the most intimate of confidences. If your husband can’t trust you with that, he can’t trust you with anything.
