Does anyone take Zoloft

Question

Can you please tell me about your experience? 
When did it start working? 
I have very bad anxiety and am even anxious to begin taking it.

I took it for several years and I have to say that it changed my life and gave me the ability to tackle some really hard shit in therapy. That said, it dimmed ALL of my feelings. Good ones and bad ones. Dimmer switch. It was weird and disconcerting at times but it changed my life for the better for sure.

Take it in the morning to avoid insomnia.
I have used it three times in my life with zero side effects. I first used it when my father was terminally ill and then I’ve used it twice postpartum to combat postpartum depression and anxiety. For depression and helps you remember what it feels like to be happy and hope she get a grip on weepiness and snappiness. For anxiety it helps bring me down to normal levels of concern and fear and worry that are manageable and navigable.
I’m wrapping up my third time using it and just like all the other times I plan to discontinue use within six months. It just helps me sort of reset myself during hard periods of time. It shows me who I can be if I can get control of my thoughts and feelings. I have found that I am able to maintain the version of myself I like best after I stop using it for a lengthy period.
For anxiety and no depression though I highly recommend Buspirone. Non habit forming and no side effects and really freaking great at normalizing anxiety levels without making you feel different.

I’ve taken it at 2 different times in my life, both with pretty excellent results. First time was 10+ years ago for anxiety and it started working that first week. I stopped after a couple years because I felt like I’d gained enough through therapy to function well without it. Back then my only bad side effect was not feeling super happy/excited, like I felt happy plenty but excitement about events was dulled.
This year I started it again for PMDD. It took a couple months to start working and the first week was rough with upset stomach side effects. The only side effect I have now is it being a little more difficult to orgasm, but it still happens, just takes a little longer than I was used to.

I did. It worked pretty quickly. I also got super fat so that part was awful.

Ive taken it. I still do but on and off. Personally it works really good for about the 1st month or so but then stops working and mentally i revert. Everyone is different tho, and i usually have bad side effects from meds.
