Today after arguing I told my husband he can be the one who balances the checkbook, go grocery shopping, put gas in both out cars, pay for school stuff and all that…..backstory I’m a Stay at home mom and my husband works so I do all the household chores, shop and all that, so while updating the checkbook today I told my husband what we have left in the account until payday this Friday the 17th and he looked at me like I fucked it up and asked how I spent over $400 in a week and I looked at him and told him grocery shopping, gas for 2 vehicular, his beer runs 2x a week, and this week we ate out for the first time in months, but he still don’t see how that cost that much when I spend between $125-150 on food for our family of 4 a week so after he was done bitching at me I told him he can be the one to do all the shopping, filling cars up, and getting his beer and then balancing the checkbook to see how much things really cost and he of course had to pull the Fuck no I’m not doing that I work all day every day and I’m not wanting to come home to do that and it’s my job, I told him too if he would stop adding stuff to my shopping list after I make it and had a somewhat total it wouldn’t be over what I had but he don’t think adding stuff would cost to much.
