Hearing loss

Hi everyone.

My daughter entered the world at 36W2D. She spent the first 25 days of her life in NICU. During her time there she was giving a medication to help combat an issue that had a side affect of hearing loss.

At 9 months she has been diagnosed with moderate hearing loss in both ears. She will more than likely need hearing aids. I've been crying worried about her future. Not that she wont succeed or be successful, she is already a rockstar!! I worry because kids can be so cruel and judgemental of things they don't understand or that are different from themselves.

So my fellow glow mommas any advice for this momma? Did anyone go through a similar experience or have any advice? Thank you in advance.
