Colostrum right after delivery ?
I never really breastfeed my kids when they were babies. Except my daughter she was only a few hours old and my nipples were bleeding due to a bad latch. But this time I’m going for it. So if I can remember back then is that my colostrum didn’t come right away. It probably took like a day or so. Idk. A nurse had me had express on a spoon after I gave birth and I only got one drop. And I’m wondering how am I supposed to feed a new baby that’s a few hours old with hardly any thing? I remember around day 3-4 my milk came in. But I don’t want to starve my baby when he/she is just born. And I really really don’t want to substitute formula in the beginning. I still have a long ways to go but I’m stressing about it just thinking about it.
