6 weeks and pains/cramps

6 weeks pregnant and Yesterday I had some spotting, it didn’t last very long and hasn’t happened since, but today I had a sharp pain on my right side as I was watching tv, It felt like a stitch from running a lil bit, I felt a bit weak too. Not long after that I had cramps in my lower belly and back and those cramps have just happened again. Does this sound bad? could it be ectopic pregnancy? Or miscarriage? I have a scan in 4 days!
