Anyone have experiences with both obgyn and midwife
I have been with an obgyn the last three pregnancies, he is an amazing obgyn and I trust him with all my pregnancies and he’s dealt with all my high risk issues perfectly I felt like BUT he is SO busy. With my third I saw him a total of 3 times before delivering (2 were appointments and one was in the hospital to monitor baby from lack of movement), with my second I only had one appointment before my water broke prematurely and got stuck in the hospital for a month (I saw him often in the hospital but it’s because I was always in his work location), all appointments don’t start until like27 weeks past and it’s an hour wait each time.
I’m curious if it’s worth looking into seeing if a midwife will give me care despite my history of high risk pregnancies, I was curious if anyone has gone with one after the other and what did you prefer?
* pic of our announcement, I’m 12 weeks and 2 days*
